Imaginatorium Shop, version 2
Welcome to the new Imaginatorium site at imaginatorium.com
. There is no "total reorganisation", so you should be able to find things easily, and eventually any bookmarks to the old shop will be redirected to the right page. The new checkout is working, which means that in simple cases you will be able to complete a purchase in the normal way.
Covid-19: Shop status
There are still many problems in the postal system, varying hugely from one country to another. More details on the front page, and at the checkout there will be more specific information about the destination country (sorry: not implemented for all countries yet!).
Jigsaw puzzles from Japan
Special Orders
On this page: Request form - Guides to online catalogs: Appleone - Artbox/Ensky - Beverly - Cuties - Epoch - Tenyo - Yanoman - Apollo - Miscellaneous
Looking for other puzzles? We can now order any currently available puzzles, and this page is here to help you find them in the manufacturers' online catalogs. Note: by default, the external links on this page open in the same window.
Request form
Please use the following form, giving as much information as you can: ideally a manufacturer name and catalog number, or a link to the web page where you found a puzzle. Once we have identified a particular puzzle you want, it should not normally take more than two or three weeks to obtain, often less.
- Ask about any puzzles at all - but please note that they do tend to go out of production after a few years, so if it's something you saw in Hong Kong ten years ago, I'm afraid there is usually no chance of finding it now.
- We have no control at all over the manufacturers' websites, which may change at any time, and sometimes break our links into them. Please let me know if something isn't working.
- See the Japanese puzzle manufacturers page for more general info - historical notes and so on.
Appleone
- More about Appleone
The Appleone website is here: www.appleone.co.jp. Check for updates: Latest puzzles (by month).
You can start from the top level puzzle index, but it is probably easier to start from one of the following links. Each leads to a page for a topic or artist, with a selector for piece count at the top. (For example, '1000ピース' means "1000 pieces".) There are up to twenty puzzles on each page, and you can step through the pages with the navigation at the bottom (e.g. '1 2 3 >>').
The small numbers in parenthesis show the approximate number of puzzles in each category. (These are not updated in real time, and may be inaccurate.)

Artbox/Ensky
- More about Ensky
The Ensky (Artbox) website is here: https://www.ensky.co.jp. There are now two index pages. The first, "Puzzle topics", has a list of all the characters appearing, unfortunately not in any obvious order (they are arranged in Japanese phonetic a-i-u-e-o order). The second, "Puzzle types", lists the different sizes of puzzles, and variations such as the "crystal" translucent puzzles. The following links lead to the first page of products for each character, with page navigation at the top and bottom if there is more than one page. Click the thumbnail for details.
The small numbers in parenthesis show the approximate number of puzzles in each category. (These may be missing or out of date; the Artbox catalog is updated frequently, and categories often come and go.)

The small numbers in parenthesis show the approximate number of puzzles in each category. (These are not updated in real time, and may be inaccurate.)

Tenyo
- More about Tenyo
Tenyo website: jigsaw puzzle introduction page - main catalog page
The Tenyo site is not easy to navigate. In almost all cases, there is no thumbnail index — so each of the following links leads to a page with a list of titles in Japanese, and you will need to click them one by one to see the puzzles. They are ordered by Japanese title, with different sizes mixed up together. The exception is the thumbnail list of new Disney puzzles which you may find useful: Latest Disney puzzles. Tenyo also produces a range of children's puzzles, with large pieces from sturdy thick card, and these are listed on a separate website.

There is a large range of Educational toys: here is a list of the main links - you will need to experiment with clicking the coloured links at the bottom of the second level pages (which are all images, so machine translation services are no help, unfortunately). Please ask if you are looking for specific children's puzzles, for example for learning hiragana or katakana.
